About Us

Box Alarm Leather was officially established May 1, 2007 by Mary and Andrew Arnold. Andrew is a career Firefighter/Paramedic in the District of Columbia Fire Department. Andrew also volunteers with the Shepherdstown Fire Department in West Virginia. Mary and Andrew have four beautiful children; Ryan, Dylan, Julianne, and Cecil.

arnoldfamily.jpgStarting out as a hobby, Mary and Andrew stamped a duty belt that Andrew wore to work. Soon, other firefighters began asking to have one made. This endeavor quickly expanded into offering custom hand made fire helmet shields, radio straps and glove straps.

Mary and Andrew hand-craft each of these pieces, taking the pride and tradition of the fire service and making it part of the gear that you use to do your job every day.
